Midcoast Maine Attractions

Lobster BoatThe Mooring is located on Harmon’s Harbor. You can awaken to the sounds of lobstermen going to get their “catch” for the day…and later enjoy eating them at one of the two local lobster wharves close by in the quaint fishing village of Five Islands. (known for “The Best Lobsters on the Maine Coast”)

Stroll Mile Beach or climb over the rocks down the road at Reid State Park, where there are hiking and biking trails. You never know what you might see for wildlife too…

A few miles away is the City of Bath where the Maine Maritime Musem is located, quaint antique stores and a variety of shopping choices. Also Brunswick is close by with summer theatre at the Maine State Music Theatre and renowned Bowdoin College.

Freeport (home of L.L.Bean) and many shopping outlets is 45 minutes away and Portland with it’s great Old Port area is only one hour to the south. To the north is Boothbay Harbor, Rockport, Rockland and Camden.
