This picturesque Maine Island Bed and Breakfast was the
original home of Walter Reid, the donor of Reid State Park in
Georgetown, and later his daughter Louise R. Butler. It is now owned by Mr. Reid's great granddaughter Penny, and her family.
Five
unique rooms, all with private baths, air conditioning and great
ocean views. Beautiful gardens and elegant old plantings adorn
the grounds. A roomy casual porch catches the warm summer breezes.
Enjoy the "Spanish Room" for quiet times and reading.
An
inviting and hearty Maine breakfast is served daily in our dining
room or on the porch, where you can enjoy the view. We are a non-smoking
inn.
A great Maine oceanfront hotel alternative!
